Finally Updated!!

Can you believe I have found a moment out my day to update my blog. Hope you enjoy the pictures. May be the last time before Christmas. We had a very good Thanksgiving break and are looking forward to our long Christmas break. This morning after waking up, Michael was upset that the grass was "broken". I explained to him that it was just the frost but who knows if that pacified him or not. How funny kids are!! Anyway, here are a few pictures from our Pupkin Carvin' Party, Michael's first hunting trip, and the kids having fun out in the yard. Hope you enjoy them!!

Taking a break from the heat!!

I still have not figured out the slideshow part. Not only do you see this album but you also see Michael's day at the garden!! I have no ideal. Again, once you click on this picture it should take you to the album. Scroll down until you see the View as Slideshow icon and click on that. Maybe I'll figure it out sooner or later!!

Michael's big day at the garden

Not sure how to do the slide show yet. You have to click on the picture and all the other pictures will come up. You can go to view as a slide show once you click the pictures. I will work with it to see if I can fix it.

Lipstick is for little girls!!

Michael has found Kilbie's stash of lipstick and surprisingly enough knows that it is supposed to go on your lips. He came outside to show me that he had "colored" his lips. He was so proud of himself.

Goodbye Summer Vacation!!!

These last 2 weeks have flown by. Michael got to keep his cast off so we have been to the lake and Nay-Nay's pool to catch up on lost swim time. Kilbie starts 2nd grade in a couple of days. It's hard to believe how fast they do grow up!! Here are a few shots from the last two weeks.

Here is Michael in his bread bag! Thanks to Bye-Bye (David) for that suggestion. He was so glad to get to play in the dirt!!

Right after we got the cast off we had to stop by the lake to ride the "fish bait" boat. Michael went head first in the sand pile by the house so here he is hosing down afterwards!!

Here are some shots of the lake house. It seems that it has been a slow process but the end is finally in sight!!Here are the kitchen cabinets.

As I said earlier, we have spent most every day at Nay-Nay's(Nancy's) pool. Here is a shot of Kilbie and Hanna playing!!

July 19, 2007

I think I have finally figured out the picture thing! I will try to post some pictures this weekend or next week. With Michael consuming most all of my time, I have little time to do anything but eat and sleep. Nancy and her family are off to the beach and they have asked Kilbie to "dog sit". She thinks it is great because she thinks she is going to get paid! She already has plans for her money. Anyway, she decided to go to a friends for the evening so Michael and I got the job of going to check on the dogs. Upon arriving at the house Michael found the kitties. He is a fanatic about cats. When I let him down he crawled right to the edge of the driveway to catch the cat. ( I am so thankful he is crawling now!) As I got to him I discovered he was sitting in a pile of ants! Oh lord, how I jerked him up and started hitting at him. The last thing we need are ants in the cast. Evidently I got to them before they got to him. When we got in the house with the dogs Michael tried to pull on Hershey (Nancy's dog!) and she did not like that. She snapped at him and then Maryalice's dog got to barking. Michael was crying and wanting to leave and all the dogs were excited and being really loud. With Michael on my hip the whole time we checked the food and water bowl and checked on the outside dogs. Needless to say, I think Kilbie will have to be home to check on the dogs from now on. If not, me and Michael may have to dock her pay!
Blaine and Ali are coming in with the girls this weekend so I will try to snap some pictures and get them up. We are counting down the days until the 30th! I don't know how much more my back can take.

ALL ABOUT US

Jamie and I met through a friend when Kilbie was 11 months old. Since then so much has happened. Who knew that true gentlemen still existed!! We were married on April Fools Day 2004. Michael came into our family on January 12, 2005 and we have had nonstop fun since then.

Who knew starting a blog was so easy. Not sure how to put pictures up but I can let you know whats going on. We had a great beach vacation last week with the kids. Michael loved the kiddy pool where we stayed and Kilbie couldn't get enough of the beach. Kilbie and Jamie actually bungie jumped (can you believe I let her do that!!) for the first time and Michael cried because he wanted to have a turn. Anyway, the trip was great!!

Michael broke his leg as soon as we got back from the beach. He was jumping around with Kilbie in MawMaws yard and landed on his foot wrong. He looks so cute in his camoflauge cast. We actually slept 10 hours last night but unfortunately we are still up at 10:05 tonight! He has had many visitors and lots of gifts. We just thought he was spoiled before this happened. We are scheduled to go back to the doctor on July 30th to remove the cast and take a look. We are praying that it will stay off.
